Osprey, Florida is
located in Sarasota County Florida. It is just south of Sarasota
in what's referred to as "unincorporated" Sarasota County.
Osprey is a diverse community with multi-million dollar homes
located on the Intracoastal Waterway and mobile home parks
just up the road from the same luxury homes. There are many new luxury and upscale home developments underway in Osprey by
many of Sarasota's top builders.
Many
restaurants can be found in Osprey
everything from fresh
mahi-mahi or grouper sandwiches to fine dining or pizza.
For
shopping, there are several areas including the Osprey
Village shops, Blackburn Point Plaza and Southbay Fashion Center.
Virtually all of the shopping in Osprey is on Tamiami Trail - US
41. Several of the local restaurants are on "the Trail" and some
waterfront dining is available on Blackburn Point Rd.

- Parents Night Out at Longwood Park Enjoy a night out with your significant other while our (summer camp) experienced county staff cares for your children ages 5-12. Cost is only $15 per child and includes unlimited play on Dance, Dance Revolution and Wii gaming systems, crafts, and a pizza dinner. Event is offered from 5:30 - 10:30 p.m. on the third Friday of the month, January - May 2008. Registration is required at least one week in advance. To register, call Carissa at 358-2855. Longwood Park is conveniently located off of University Parkway, between Lockwood Ridge Road and I-75 at 6050 Longwood Run Blvd.
